Helen Rowson is a singer and vocal coach currently working in Barcelona, London and Liverpool. She has a BA (Hons) degree in French, German and Media Studies from the City of London Polytechnic and an MSc in Vocal Pathology from University College, London.
In the 1980s she co-founded the professional acapella group ‘Stupendams’ who toured extensively in Spain and across Europe, and edited two records.
Since 1995 Helen has mostly been dedicated to teaching and lecturing and was the resident vocal coach on the Spanish television’s pilot version of Fame Academy (Operación Triunfo) and guest lecturer in vocal technique teacher at the Liverpool Institute of the Performing Arts. She also works as vocal coach to the Spanish and Andorran delegations at the Eurovision Song Contest.
