Sarah Shephard

Sarah has a BA (Hons) degree in history from the University of Manchester and became particularly interested in African history and culture while studying social anthropology as one of her subsidiary courses. Her work as press officer for the UK-based charity the International League for the Protection of Horses included extensive travel and practical experience, primarily to communicate the charity’s educational programmes, which aim to provide sustainable economic benefits through improved equine welfare, around the world.

Since 1996 Sarah has been running her own PR consultancy, specialising in media relations and copy writing, with particular expertise in animal welfare charity and veterinary sectors.
