Forum Theatre
Our Forum Theatre Project aims to promote critical thinking and decision making through the analysis and discussion of social issues relating to HIV, its transmission and impact. Using theatre as a forum for discussion, communities are able to explore personal issues and discuss their own ideas without feeling exposed.
Maasai Music Project
Empuaan’s Music Project aims to raise awareness of HIV, its spread and it prevention by working with the community to develop HIV messages and integrate them into the lyrics of popular Maasai songs.
Condom Awareness and Promotion
In addition to creating an environment in which individuals and groups can explore alternative ways of being and make informed choices to reduce the risk and impact of HIV/AIDS, Empuaan liaises with both governmental and non-governmental agencies to provide and distribute condoms in rural areas.
